The Illinois Bentley User Group is changing its name.
IBUG is changing its name to the Illinois Association of Engineering Technology Professionals. (IAETP). With this change we need a new logo. A design contest will be announced next next week. Stay tuned.
The name change was needed to clarify our status as an independent group dedicated to the sharing of information on the use of computer software and technology in all areas of engineering.
We will be continuing our partnership with Bentley who we thank for their tremendous support over the years with our multi-day conferences. We plan to develop other partnerships with Bentley and others in our single day events.
